Compatibility
Includes mounting brackets for Intel LGA775 , LGA1366 and LGA1156 socket motherboards. Brackets for AMD socket AM2 and AM3 motherboards are available for a nominal shipping and handling charge by contacting Corsair Technical Support.
Weaknesses: you have to use programs to control the settings no manuel nobs and buttons
Summary: I have an AMD quadcore 2.4ghz and under a stress test with the standard cooler it would go from 48~50c idle then on stress it would hit 75 in 4 minutes and do the overheat beeping now with the h50 i am overclocking to 2.772 and under a stress test float from 28~30 celsuis oh and my new idle temp is 22 celsuis
